What connection speed do I need to watch a DivX Download movie?
A fast Internet connection (i.e. DSL, Cable or T1) is required to download a DivX Download movie. You may begin viewing the movie before the download is completed, but may need to stop or pause viewing if the download speed is insufficient.
How long is the rental agreement for each DivX movie file?
The rental agreement is for 7, 14 or 30 days, depending on which duration you purchase.
How much does it cost to rent a DivX Download movie?
The cost of the 7-day rental agreement is usually $9.99 per movie. 14-day rentals are usually $12.99. 30-day rentals are usually $14.99. Some premium or enhanced titles may be sold at a higher price.
How many times can I watch my rented DivX movie?
You can watch your DivX movie as many times as you want during your selected rental period.
When does the rental period begin?
Your rental period begins when you start the movie download. This makes it easy for you to purchase multiple titles and to start the download and viewing at your leisure.
What happens when my rental period expires?
Once your rental period expires, the downloaded file becomes inactive. If you want to remove it from your hard drive, simply delete the file.
Whom do I contact if I have problems using DivX?
If you have problems playing these movies, please first check that you have the appropriate hardware, software and system requirements. If the problem persists, please contact Customer Service.

What are the hardware, software and requirements to download and play a DivX Download movie?
The minimum requirements are:
  • Pentium III or faster processor with a minimum speed of 733 megahertz (MHZ)
  • Video card with 8MB or more of video memory
  • Windows 2000 (with DirectX 7 or later installed)
  • Monitor resolution 800 x 600 or higher
  • Broadband Internet connection - running at least 512 kbps (i.e. DSL, cable or T1)
  • Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher, or Firefox 1.0 or higher

Yes, DivX titles can be burned to DVD and watched using a DivX certified DVD player during the rental period. After the rental period, the DivX title will no longer be viewable.
