I was born in 1958 urban New Jersey directly across from the beautiful New York City skyline. Life was very exciting & the country was in a most economically prosperous time. J.F.K. was president, we listened to 45-rpm records in jukeboxes at the Soda Shop. There was only black & white TV. Harley-Davidson & Indian motorcycles roared in the streets where we played football in between cars. Parents typically hit their kids, sex education was never discussed, were everywhere, grammer schools had air-raid drills & the country was at war in Vietnam. Greasers wore leather jackets, drank , smoked cigarettes & fought freely. Hippies wore bellbottoms, dropped LSD, smoked grass, & free love was born. Racial slurs were common, driving was a popular pastime, and 42nd Street & 8th Ave. had the best hookers in the world. (Thanks girls, you rock!) Playboy didn't show pubic hair, Al Goldstein from Screw told us where to get laid, Larry Flynt was still fucking chickens on his way to the Hustler empire, gays, lesbians & sexual deviants never had support groups; only drunks went to AA & AIDS was undiscovered. I was a cute, skinny kid, with long blonde hair growing up in the big city. Dad was a doctor and we lived in the only single family house on the block. It was a tough neighborhood & gangs were forming. I needed friends but, hung out with the wrong crowd. I continued to be attracted to the darker-side of life. I started experimenting with a lot of things & my parents strongly objected. After 7th grade they sent me off to an all boys ivy league catholic boarding prep school to live with monks for 5 years. Boy wasn't that interesting. I graduated with honors, went on to get a college education, began studying under an older German dominatrix, got a job as a Teamster & got a girl pregnant. I was busy. Yes, I have 4 wonderful kids who I love beyond words. Yes, my marriage to Alexandra Silk is my third; I just adore her. Alex is a sweet, sexy goddess and my best friend.
