The film is one that needs to be watched in one go and, like a good meal, cannot be gulped down. The start is slow and the action varied but the story line is good and relevant. The acting and action is first class. The sex party scenes are fantastic and would give anyone a great incentive to be and stay physically fit.
Paul Thomas movies are usually incomprehensible messes, so I was a little scared to see this come down the pike, but someone else must have helped him make it. Tight, well-shot and real, The New Behind the Green Door is not a remake but a sequel. Marilyn Chambers' daughter (Brooklyn Lee) finds herself adrift in San Francisco with an ebbing trust fund, a deadbeat boyfriend, and no purpose in life, when mysterious stranger offers her adventure, knowledge, and the solution to a mystery.
Well-acted and complex for a porn movie, this features some good sex and an absorbing plot. You don't absolutely need to have seen the original, but I'd recommend it, not least because that;s a good one too.
